Montana Rules

Mike Dziuba, Debra, Jody Fisher at Glacier National Park

I’m a self-taught guitarist. I’ve only had a few lessons and I’ve never been to a workshop before. So when I was invited to the Crown of the Continent Guitar Workshop to learn from Pat Metheny, Lee Ritenour, Alex De Grassi and Scott Tennant at a dude ranch in the Rocky Mountains, I had to go!

I was initially invited to the festival to write about it, but I wound up on the faculty, teaching private lessons and two workshops ( alternate tunings and vibrato) and performing in the finale.

  • This is such a great opportunity for the artists and the public. I know you will be an inspiration to all that you come in contact with Debra. To anyone who has a chance to experience this festival “please do so!!!” This could change the rest of your life! At the very least you will enjoy a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!

  • Thanks Paul, it really was incredible. I’ll be blogging all the details for Guitar International.com next week!
