Bonobo Benefit – Debra Devi & Wynne Paris
I just wrote a new blog post for HeadCount about the benefit concerts my friend Wynne Paris is putting together for the Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI).
We’ll be playing together in DC May 14 and 15 to raise money for BCI. I’ll support Wynne’s band, Groovananda, and then we’ll perform acoustic versions of some Devi songs, backed by Groovananda, including Wynne on sarod/vocals, tabla master Badal Roy and jazz clarinet maestro Perry Robinson. I feel pretty lucky!
